I am backing up a lot of data for a legal matters. I am using Keka for both archive and unarchiving files. I have two log related questions to ask.
First, I would like is to know if Keka keeps or generates a log of activity. Especially great if it references the File(s) and action and start/stop/duration.
If not, do any of you know what Mac logs I should look for that may provide relevant activity?
Second, does it keep a log or index of the files it is compressing/decompressing?
Again, if not, and there's a Mac log somewhere that would be nice to know.
Thank you very much.
Ben

Does Keka keep or generate logs
Hi Ben,
By default Keka does not create any logs. With the latest versions you can enable them though. Just click on Keka's Help menu -> Debug and enable both Enable and Save debug information:
The log is not very read-friendly for your purposes, but it has all the information you need like source/destination file location and names and timestamps.
Hope this helps.
