iOS version - what are the complexities for porting?

Post by bluedot » Sun Sep 20, 2020 6:39 pm

Hi,

I couldn't find a search feature in this forum so not sure if it has been asked before. I found this github issue #171 (sorry, I cannot add urls) which deals with this question and aonez mentions he plans to add this feature after 1.2.0 but has no timeline.

I've seen some zip libraries ported to Swift/iOS such as weichsel/ZIPFoundation and marmelroy/Zip, but they look incomplete specially dealing with encryption.

I'm not sure how Keka works in the background so my question is: what makes Keka so difficult to be ported to iOS? Besides the obvious required UI changes, do its libraries need to be ported as well?
