Before opening the link I thought you appreciated the information at you work Seriously, I was very sad reading this news. Don’t worry about Keka, the MAS version does not have network capabilities, and the WEB version only in the Sparkle component for the update process.
I must say... Dr. Unarchiver and Dr. Cleaner sound a bit scammy.
It seems to me "trust" is one of the basics for an AV company. Those things can access anything, and it's even normal they check links you browse. So, did they get greedy or something? This is a real PR/privacy nightmare for Trend Micro, and I would uninstall their AV product immediately. The money they made by selling user data must be gone by now, don't you think?
Oh, and BTW, of course, I've uninstalled Dr. Unarchiver at work. I just saw a tweet there are only two Trend Micro apps left on the MAS. I refuse to pay for something I need at work, and you wouldn't believe the hassle I would have been facing if I wanted to buy Keka at work
