Non-default archive password

Post by cyrus » Sun Jun 10, 2012 9:25 pm

Could it be possible to open a dialog to prompt for an archive password while creating?
So it will be possible to use different passwords for each archive without changing the default one.
Maybe an option in the preferences could be possible to enable a 'default', a 'user prompted' or 'no' password.
This feature is possible for example in 7Zip Archiver.

But i will thank you for this great free tool.

Yes I like that too.

One problem I see is that when Keka is open and you supply a password, it zips with that password. When Keka is closed and you drag a file to the dock, it does NOT zip with a password. Am I missing something?

Very nice program - thank you and keep up the good work. I especially like the iso/dmg option!

As soons as you close the main window the password is dismissed. So right now you need to keep the main interface open with the password active.
